Use of the research pilot

Effective October 23, 2026. Users can create their own private research accounts without an invitation. Paid subscriptions are not offered in this pilot. Keep your password and recovery code private. Do not access another person’s account, abuse registration or overload public sources.

Money Trail Audit organizes public-source research. It is not a government agency, an independent audit opinion, or a determination that fraud occurred. Flags identify records and explanations needing review. An award, budget, variance, shared address or audit weakness does not establish a loss or criminal conduct.

Check original sources, dates, entity matches, corrections and counterevidence before using a finding. Public availability does not override privacy protections, licensing, source terms or applicable law. Do not bypass login barriers or submit protected beneficiary or banking data.

The request tracker sends records-request email only under the approval and automation settings you choose. The app does not authorize fees, sign statements, submit fraud tips or promise whistleblower rewards. Review official submission and eligibility requirements yourself.

Google Maps and Street View are subject to Google Maps terms and Google’s Privacy Policy. Preserve attribution. Images may be old or show a nearby viewpoint and do not prove service delivery or wrongdoing.

Paid provider usage can incur charges on the connected provider accounts. The app’s Street View allowance does not cap the entire Google billing account. The pilot has source-coverage, extraction and server-capacity limits. Initial capacity is 20 active accounts, a 256 MB workspace storage allowance, with up to 20 research starts/resumes per account per day and 100 across this server.
